AGE: 66 • Keansburg
John J. Barricelli, 66 of Keansburg, NJ, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 peacefully at home.
He was born January 13, 1950 in Red Bank, NJ. He was the owner and operator of Barrcelli's Florist in Keansburg for over 20 years . John had a great love for music, he enjoyed boating and was avid Oakland Raider fan. John continued his passion for flowers and plants after retiring
and took pride in maintaining his property.
Surviving are his 2 brothers William Barricelli and his wife Jane of Freehold, NJ and Frank Barricelli of Oceanport, NJ., nieces and nephews Donna, Lisa, Maria, Vinnie, Bob, Gina and Joey. He also leaves behind his beloved 3 cats and his dog.
Friends will be received 2-4 & 7-9pm. Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Laurel Funeral Home, 201 Laurel Avenue West Keansburg, NJ 07734 with a Friday evening Service.

Knew John thru my dad he was bartender at Kinlins back in the day. Recently though had conversations with him at Anthonys Pizzeria. Very nice person & business owner at flower shop. Say HI to all KINLIN folks up there

To the Barricelli Family,
I worked at Fort Monmouth for 28 years before retiring to Florida. I am not sure now whether it was with Frank or John. I am 64 now and it was a while ago. He was an engineer.
I still read the on-line edition of the Asbury Park Press. I also formerly lived in Keansburg and attended St. Ann's Church across the street. I remember the love of flowers though.
In any case, I offer my condolence to the family.

To the Barricelli family, my deepest condolences. I was very sad and shocked to hear about John passing. He was a great guy, always kind We were great friends back in the 70s and recently spoke on Facebook. He will be truly missed.
