I'm so glad he was my uncle. I have nothing but good memories of him. I keep remembering our trips to NY. He really helped shaped my childhood.

Holly and I are deeply saddened. Uncle Johnny was not just my Godfather, but was also one of the closest relatives I had growing up even though we weren't related by blood. Doug, Dana, and I have already been passing back and forth stories we can remember about all of the great times we shared with him, and he will be deeply missed. Thinking of Aunt Irene and the kids during this difficult time. Love, David.

What a great guy and such a nice man. Always a quick laugh and just fun to be around. I picture John with a Coke in one hand and a golf club in the other. He will be missed by all who knew him. Sincere condolences to Irene and the family.

On behalf of all EPSCMA members I would like to convey our deepest sympathies to the Conte family at this difficult time. "Deuce" as John was affectionately known, was a larger than life personality, with a tough guy exterior that just couldn't mask his heart of gold. John spoke often of his with family with obvious love and pride. He will be sorely missed by all.
Godspeed John.

Deepest condolences to the Family. I was lucky to have spent a week fishing with John and friends a few years back. His big personality was always present. A proud Husband, Father and Grand-Father. RIP and may God bless his Family.....
