John Tracey Obituary
East Brunswick - John W. Tracey - died on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was 82.
Born in Hazlet, he was raised in Union Beach and was a resident of East Brunswick for the past 53 years.
John was a U.S. Army veteran and a volunteer fireman.
Prior to retiring, he worked as a truck driver for Smith & Solomon, New Brunswick, and also for Nottingham Express.
He loved camping, traveling and taking his family to almost all of the United States. He loved all of the holidays and spending time with his family. He looked forward to going to Williamsport for Little League baseball with his son and grandson. He wouldn't miss his grandchildren's music concerts or sport games, and loved watching his granddaughter, Kristen, compete in horseback riding. He will be greatly missed when the snow comes, as he was always the first one out with his snow blower.
John was predeceased by his parents, James and Eva (Waltman) Tracey and his sister, Anna Seaman.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Patricia; two sons, Daniel and his wife, Susan, of Jackson, and James of East Brunswick; a daughter, Janet Price and her husband, William, of South Plainfield; his brother, James and his wife, Madeline, of Florida; four grandchildren, Daniel & Kristen Tracey and Shea and Tanner Price, and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation was private, under the direction of The Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.

I will miss a great neighbor who was always there for me when I needed help in the yard in either lending me a tool or gving advice to me to finish something. I will miss our times being outside when the snow came with the plowing. God speed John and thank you for the time we knew each other and you will be missed by all.
