John Ziolkowski Obituary
Fords
John Peter Ziolkowski of Fords entered into eternal rest on January 21, 2012. He is the son of the late Peter and Carol Ziolkowski. John served in the U.S. Army from 1969-1971 when he was honorably discharged. He then resumed his post office career where he worked in both the Perth Amboy and Fords Post Offices. John enjoyed being on his route in Perth Amboy for many years and made many good friends. He retired in 2003 after 34 years of service with the post office. Presently, he was employed by Millers Rentals. He was a communicant of Holy Spirit Church, Perth Amboy and a member of the Iselin American Legion Post 471. John was a very devoted and loving family man who cared deeply for his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 38 years Patricia (Molnar); his devoted and much loved daughter Melissa and son- in- law Dominick Salerno of Fords; his 2 cherished granddaughters, Samantha and Riley; his brother Michael of Phillipsburg, as well as other loving family members. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by 2 brothers, Daniel and Peter.
As per John's wishes, there will be no viewing. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday January 25, 2012 at 10 AM at Holy Spirit Church, Perth Amboy. In John's memory contributions may be made to Holy Spirit Church. John will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends. Dear Pat, Melissa,& Donnie and my granddaughters Samantha & Riley
It is with great sadness that I offer my condolences to all of you and the extended family. John was a great man and will be missed very much. Samantha & Riley will always keep wonderful memories of their Pa. Dominick & I are sincerly sorry for the loss of John.

Dear Pat & Melissa. It's been a long time since I lived on Wildwood but I can still see Johns's face & smile and I think back with fondness, Yur hardest days are yet to come but from that sorrow will come the comfort in knowing that you will once meet again.

I'm very sorry for your loss. John and I were always good friends and I'd still see him @ Quick Chek or the laundromat all the time. He will be missed by all of his former co-workers at the Post Office. Our deepest sympathies.
