Jonathan Clayton Obituary
Monroe Township - Jonathan A. Clayton, 81, of Monroe Township, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Meadow Lakes in East Windsor.
Born in New Brunswick, Mr. Clayton resided in Cranbury for many years until settling in Monroe Township 20 years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran who was honorably discharged. Jon was employed as a Banker with Manufacturers Hanover Trust in New York City for 30 years.
He enjoyed spending time at his residence in Sedona, Arizona among family, fishing, boating and reading. He also enjoyed playing the saxophone and listening to jazz.
Predeceased by his parents, Llewellyn and Florence Clayton; and his wife, Carole E. Clayton; he is survived by his loving children, Susan B. Clayton and David A. Clayton.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury, NJ.
Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery in Manalapan.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home.
