JOSEPH MICHAEL ELETTO
AGE: 87 WOODBRIDGE TOWNSHIP
Joseph Michael Eletto died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, at New Jersey Veterans Home at Menlo Park. He was 87. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had resided in Woodbridge Township for the past 22 years.
Mr. Eletto retired from New York City Transit Authority, where he was a conductor, and then was courier supervisor for Morgan Guaranty Trust Company in New York City.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, where he served in the European Theater of Operations and was awarded the Bronze Star and the Silver Star. He belonged to T. Nulty Post 471 American Legion, Iselin; and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Woodbridge.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances Branchato Eletto; a daughter, Rose Eletto of Avenel; a son, Vincent Eletto of Edison; two sisters, Molly Marotta of New York and Anita Landolfi of Florida, and three granddaughters, Jennifer, Jacqueline and Jessica Eletto.
Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel St., Avenel. A Requiem Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, Woodbridge. Interment will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Dec. 30, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association Greater NJ Chapter, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.

Dear Aunt Fran,Rose and Vinnie

I am so very sorry for the loss of Uncle Joey.He is in a special place now looking down on all of us.
