JOSEPH A. HYDUCHAK
AGE: 73 PAUPACK, PA.
Joseph Andrew Hyduchak, 73, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, at the Del E. Webb Memorial Hospital, Sun City West, Arizona, following an illness. He has lived in Paupack, Pa., the past 40 years; prior to that he lived in New Jersey.
He was born in Dunmore, Pa., to the late Andrew and Clara (Wasil) Hyduchak. He was formerly employed by Bell Telephone in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He retired from Lucent Technologies to form Hyduchak & Son Electrical Contractors. He was a lifetime member of Tafton Fire Co., and was a member of the Wayne County Builders Association in Pennsylvania. He was a communicant of BVM Queen of Peace R.C. Church, Hawley, Pa.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Pearl Jean (Matsko) Hyduchak of Paupack, Pa.; a son, Joseph J. Hyduchak of Hawley, Pa.; a daughter, Melissa Duhaime of Chepachet, R.I.; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Christopher and Abigail Duhaime, and Andrew, Stephen and Matthew Hyduchak; a brother, Edward Hyduchak of North Carolina, and a sister, Barbara Gianotto of Somerset.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday, October 13, at Teeters' Funeral Chapel, 505 Church St., Hawley, Pa., with the Rev. Richard W. Beck, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at BVM Queen of Peace Cemetery, Hawley, Pa. Memorials can be made to Tafton Fire & Rescue, Tafton, PA 18454 in memory of Joseph Hyduchak.
