Deacon Kelvin Jackson transitioned this life 3/2/2016 in Plainfield. A lifelong resident of Plainfield he was a member of the Greater Refuge Church of Christ in Plainfield where he served as a deacon , the men's fellowship and culinary ministries. he was employed by the state of New Jersey as a supervisor for the department of Child Support & Probation and drug court. Mr. Jackson was also a substance abuse counselor at the Raritan Bay Medical Center and the owner operator of Classic Elements Clothing .
Predeceased by his parents Culbert and Fannie Jackson, brothers Jonathan & Gregory Jackson and sister Rose Jackson Stowe he is survived by wife Cherise Jackson, brothers Charles, Culbert Jr., Albert Jackson , sisters Doris Moore, Sharon Jackson & Theresa Jones and a host of loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday 6PM at the Greater Refuge Church of Christ 600 Grant Aver., Plainfield. Visitation will be Sunday 4-6PM at the church. Arrangements by Judkins. www.judkinscolonialhome.com

Wow my sandbox bud left and didnt say goodbye. i know we'll play in the big beautiful garden our father has prepared for us. it just doest seem fare when none of our childhood dreams come true. we always said our children would play together calling us auntie and uncle. we would have great parties for all of our families and friends. well we will make it happen on the other side. i love you miss you and wish you were here. rest in peace i know you suffer no more.PEACE AND BLESSINGS MY SANDBOX BUD.love always.
