LILLIAN W. SALERNO
AGE: 67 HOLMDEL
Lillian W. Salerno, 67, of Holmdel, passed away at home on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009. Mrs. Salerno was the co-owner of Winsale School Bus Transportation Company in Jersey City, N.J. She was an avid golfer, and a member of Foursgate Country Club. Born in Bridgewater, N.J., she lived in Nutley prior to moving to Holmdel in 1987.
She is survived by her husband, James; three sons, Thomas and his wife Gina Rucci, Daniel Rucci, John and his wife Kate Rucci; three daughters, Lillian and her husband Kevin Lucash, Christine Rucci and her fiancee Stephen, Michelle and her husband Matthew Gallagher; a step son, James and his wife Laura Salerno; two step daughters, Mary Salerno, Carolyn and her husband Allen Taskier; five sisters, Dorothy, Geraldine, Gloria, Shirley, and Lorraine, and seventeen grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel NJ on Monday evening from 7 to 9 PM and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Mass Wednesday 10:00 AM at St. Catharines RC Church, Holmdel. Entombment Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum. For directions or to post an online condolence please visit www.holmdelfuneralhome.com
