MARGARET WONDOWSKI
AGE: 73 FORMERLY OF SOUTH RIVER
Margaret Wondowski has gone to her heavenly home. Marge, 73, of Verona Wis., died Sunday, May 31, 2009, surrounded by the loving arms of her family.
Marge was blessed with three children, Ruth Bausher of Johnstown Pa., John Alexander Wondowski of Wyomissing Pa., and Kay Wondowski, with whom she resided. Marge loved her eight grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alexis and Matthew Bausher, children of Richard and Ruth Bausher, Gail, Ann and Austin Wondowski, children of John and Carol Wondowski, and Nicholas and Pete Pierantozzi children of Kay Wondowski. They provided joy and pride.
Having earned a BS in Elementary Education at Trenton University, NJ, Marge taught school in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. In 1972, Marge opened Stepping Stones, a private nursery school and kindergarten. It was wonderful and Marge felt it was one of many things that defined her. As for interests, gardening and flowers lead the way followed by football, not to mention knitting, crocheting, cooking, the N.J. shore, crime shows, reading, lunch, laughing, friends, socializing and building doll houses and maintaining a miniature business online. Marge thanked her Higher Power daily for her life, her peace, her many friends and all blessings she received. Marge was born in South River and was a daughter of the late Alexander and Anna Pawlowski. She was predeceased by a sister, Agnes; and five brothers, Isadore, Theodore, Charles, Peter and Stanley. Remaining are a brother, Alexander Pawlowski of South Amboy; a sister, Cecilia Martinez of East Brunswick; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 3 in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, Pa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 4 in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading, Pa. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayerville.
