Marion McDonough Christopher

AGE: 87 • Spotswood

Marion McDonough Christopher died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was 87. Born in Somerville, MA, she resided in Connecticut, in East Brunswick for 21 years, and Walpole, NH for 16 years before moving to Spotswood seven years ago. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception RC Church, Spotswood, and was a member of the Spotswood Senior Citizens.

Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Chris G. Christopher; four children, G. Stephen Christopher and his companion Catherine Plakun of Troy, NY, Michael and his wife Marlene Christopher of Jackson, Ellen and her husband Mark Conroy of Middletown, and Mark and his wife Lynne Christopher of Warrenton, VA; a sister, Gertrude Donovan of Santa Barbara, CA; and five grandchildren, Chad, Clinton, Casey, Devan, and Olivia.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 6:30 PM in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, 4-7PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Ellen, Jon and I were so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I will always have wonderful fond memories of our shopping with her at Englishtown and then going back to her house for English muffins.
