Mark Kasdin Obituary
Monroe Township - Mark B. Kasdin, 74, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. He was born and raised in Trenton, NJ and had lived in Ewing, NJ, North Brunswick, Monmouth Junction and for the past eleven years in Monroe Township, NJ.
Mark graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor's Degree in History. He taught History for a year, before going to work as a Materials Director with Cooper-Wheelock Industries in Long Branch, NJ for many years.
He was a member of the Renaissance Senior Living Community where he served as a Trustee. He was also a member of the Men's Club, the Veteran's Club and the Shalom Club. Mark was a long time member of both the Jewish War Veterans and Congregation B'nai Tikvah as well as their Financial Secretary.
Mark enjoyed bowling, bocce, poker and reading. He was a big time sports enthusiast. Mark was a season ticket holder for 40 years with the Philadelphia Eagles and an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies.
He was predeceased by his parents Saul and Ruth (Schecter) Kasdin and is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Maxine (Steck) Kasdin and his cherished daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Matthew Scofield.
Funeral services will take place on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 10:00 am at Congregation B'nai Tikvah, 1001 Finnegan's Lane, North Brunswick, NJ. Interment to follow at Washington Cemetery, South Brunswick Township, (Deans), NJ.
Memorial donations may be made in Mark's name to Congregation B'nai Tikvah or a favorite charity of your choice.

Mark was one of a kind.He was a true friend to all who knew him.Mark and I shared many Eagles and Phillies games together.We shared many laughs and also thought rightly or wrongly that we had answers to many of our country´s problems.I think of Mark all the time and miss him greatly.

Maxine and Stacy, George and I are so very sorry for your loss. Mark was such a dear friend to George since a very young age. He became a good friend of mine after George and I were married.We took a real estate course together in Hamilton. I used to give him girly advice when he started dating
Maxine in the 70's . I guess it worked , since he ended up marrying her!! He was truely one of a kind! A very special ,thoughtful , genuinely loyal husband , father , son , and friend to so many. He will be missed.

I'm very sorry to hear this. I enjoyed talking with Mr. Kasdin every day when he brought Ziggy in for daycare. He was a very sweet man. My condolences to you all.
