January 22, 2009

I would like to express my condolences to the
Robertson family.
Mark was the Director of the East Brunswick
school district Data Processing dept. (where I worked also),he was the person
whom I
reported to (basically he was my Boss).
We used to call him "the Silver Fox".
I lost my father to illness almost 25 years ago and Mark (to me)became
sort of like a surrogate father.
I respected him and valued his advice
and enjoyed my time with him.
I just spoke to him on the phone a few months ago after he moved north and we made plans to get together when time
permitted. We spoke about our families and of course he had to update me on
his daughter, when she was in HS I probably could have recited her stat's on the Basketball court. It was good to hear she is still involved w/ the game. He was
so very proud of her.
I enjoyed working with Mark, he made a
difference in my life whether he knew it
or not and I will miss him.
Sincerely,Bob Kiernan
