MARTHA L. JAKER
AGE: 93 WOODBRIDGE
Martha L. Jaker, 93, of Woodbridge, NJ, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 at home.Born in Newark, NJ; She was a longtime resident of The Menlo Park Terrace section of Woodbridge Township. She was employed by Lockhead Electronics in Plainfield, NJ for 20 years before retiring. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband, Isadore Jaker who died in 1967; a daughter, Charna Wesche who died in 2003. She is Survived by a son, Stephen Jaker and his wife Beverly of Woodbridge; a brother, Howard "Pat" Schulze of Deland, Florida; five grandchildren, Ilyssa Wesche, Michele Jaker-Oatman, Matthew Jaker, Daniel Wesche, and Michael Wesche; five great-grandchildren, Kevin, Cassie, Jacob, Conner, and Thomas.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. A private service for the family will be held on Thursday followed by a cremation. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Elija's Promise, 211 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
