Rest on Uncle Mickey, we miss you

August 28, 2014

Our hearts ache at the loss of such a wonderful, loving, and funny, great-uncle. Uncle Mickey was always the same each time you were in his presence. Uncle Mickey was our dad's (Bubby)uncle and hero! Our mother also loved him so! We will miss him dearly, and our love for Uncle Mickey will remain in our hearts for rest of our lives. Take your rest in your new eternal home Uncle Mickey, for you have gone on to see, and to be with, the KING! Halelujah . . . you have won the VICTORY! We love you today and always, Shirley, Allen Jr.(Tubby), and Randy - Bubby's Children

He was more then my grandfather, he was my best friend. The first father in my life, my comforter, my hero, my cheerleader, motivator, my spiritual teacher, my laughter, my joy and my heart. I am the woman I am today because of you. You taught me to be a fighter and never quit. Never give up and always to remain steadfast in my beliefs and faith. so many memories flood my mind, so much love swells in my heart, and so many laughs, smiles and hugs. I will Always remember you and you live on in me, through me, your grand daughter, through my children - your great-grand children (Shanieka, Larry, Jaaron, Aurora and Adriana), and through their children - your great-great grand children (Donnell Jr. and one on the way) and everyone you have come in contact with.
