Toms River - Richard Francis Dwyer, III, age 85, of Toms River, passed away, Friday, April 26, 2019 at home. Born in Jersey City, he lived there for 62 years prior to moving to Toms River. He retired with the rank of Battalion Chief of the Jersey City Fire Department after serving for 30 years. . Family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, April 29th, 2019 at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd, Toms River, NJ 08755 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 30th, 2019 at St Paul's Roman Catholic Church, 14 Greenville Ave, Jersey City, 10:00 AM. Burial will follow to Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com
