Please accept my condolences.. I was just a child when I knew Officer Erven. He was one of the toughest cop in UB and we knew it.. As an adult, although I haven't lived in UB for a long time, I always had a high respect for him and thought about him often! God bless your family and hold them in this difficult time.

To my long-time friend--Words cannot express my deep sadness over your passing. I will miss our phone calls, talking about our earlier days on the Union Beach Police Department, and of those who went on before us.

You will be sadly missed and, until we meet again and we're patrolling heaven's streets together, I will always remain your friend and brother officer.

Our deepest sympathy to your beloved Sharon.
