Robert Prybella Obituary
South Plainfield - Robert W. Prybella Jr., 65, passed away on Wednesday at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Rahway.
Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Prybella grew up in South Philly and had resided in South Plainfield for the past 35 years.
An avid Philadelphia sports fan, Robert was a model train enthusiast and enjoyed coaching his children's youth basketball teams. But what he truly cherished was time with his family and spending time at his Avalon beach home.
Predeceased by his father Robert Sr., surviving are his loving wife, Angela; children, Cindy and Amanda Prybella of South Plainfield, Stephanie Lemchak and her husband Eric of Edison, Brian Prybella and his wife Darcy of Pataskala, Ohio and Nick Prybella and his wife Taryn of South Plainfield; mother, Elaine Prybella; siblings, Maria Brown of Glassboro and John Prybella and his wife Karen of Southampton, PA; and grandchildren, Chase, Henry, Jake, Livia and Ellie Prybella and Harrison Lemchak.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 9:15am in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave, South Plainfield followed by a 10am funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield.
Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 3-7pm in the funeral home.

Amanda, and family: I never met your father, but today, after seeing all the photos and videos, it is obvious that he was a joyful man, and it was obvious that what brought him the most joy was his family. Thank goodness you have each other to help you through the loss and pain and to remember the beautiful memories your parents have built. My deepest condolences to you all.
