Rose Paley Obituary
AGE: 84 • Piscataway
Rose Paley, 84, died on July 3, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New Brunswick, NJ on June 20, 1929 to her dear parents Nicola and Anna Bongiovi DelCasale. Rose resided in New Brunswick for 20 years and then for the past 64 years resided in Piscataway.
Before starting her family, Rose worked for Nathan's Dept. Store in New Brunswick and Revlon in Edison. She was a communicant of St. Frances Cabrini Church in Piscataway; was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a dear sister and cousin, a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother, and a dear friend. Rose enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing cards, and was a kind, caring, generous person, who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Rose is survived by her loving children, Wayne Paley and his wife Tracey of Ringoes, Debbie Lauria and Paul Gubernat of Piscataway, Denise DiComo and her husband Tony of East Windsor, Donna Tranchida and her husband John of Manahawkin; her dear brother, Michael DelCasale and his wife Jan of Lambertville; her loving sister, Carmela Vignolo of Monroe Township; eleven wonderful grandchildren, Holly, Timothy, Peter, Dana, Jordan, Chastin, Devon, Colby, Cole, Noelle, Kristin; four great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Dylan, Luke, Julia; and many beloved family and friends. She was predeceased by the love of her life of 41 years, her beloved husband, Peter Paley who passed away in the year 2000.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869 (908-725-1887). Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 starting with a viewing from 8:00 to 9:00 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 208 Bound Brook Avenue, Piscataway, NJ 08854. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O.Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
