Ruthann Mannion Obituary
AGE: 69 years • Punta Gorda, Florida
Ruthann "Tinker" Mannion, 69, of Punta Gorda, Fl., died on Sunday, March 16, 2014. Born on Staten Island she lived there for 20 years before moving to Manalapan and finally residing in Florida one year ago. Prior to her retirement she was an Executive Secretary for the Freehold Regional High School District. Ruthann was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Gordons Corner Fire Company for several years. She was valiant in her fight against an aggressive cancer since 2010.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1990. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Leon Vedovato of Valhalla, NY; her son, Joseph Jr. of Old Bridge; her two brothers, Stephen Bridge of Bronx, NY and Robert (Clem) Bridge of Staten Island, NY; two sisters, Evelyn Welsh of Port Charlotte, Fl., and Laraine Bridge of Punta Gorda, Fl.; and two grandchildren, Joseph and Samantha Vedovato of Valhalla, NY.
A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, March 21st at 11:30 am at St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Freeman Manalapan - Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan
