Steven Blaha Obituary
AGE: 57 • Milltown
Steven A. Blaha died Wednesday, August 9th, 2017, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was 57. Born in Welch, WV, he resided in South Amboy before moving to Milltown 33 years ago.
Steven was a CFO Accountant for Burrellesluce, Florham Park, where he worked for 33 years. He was a communicant of St. Bartholomew RC Church, East Brunswick.
Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Debra Tice Blaha; a son, Gregory Blaha and his wife, Dianna, of East Windsor; two daughters, Melissa Blaha and her husband, Stephen Warren, of London, England, and Alison McLaughlin and her husband, Brian, of Metuchen; and two brothers, John Blaha Jr. of Hillsdale, MI, and Joseph Blaha and his wife, Margaret, of Toms River.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 14th, 8:45 AM, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bartholomew RC Church, East Brunswick. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

I had the pleasure of knowing Steve for 27 years; working with him at New England Newsclip and Burrelles. He was a great man to work for and I learned so much from him. He saved my job when Burrelle's was closing NE Newsclip, allowing me to work from home doing a job that I really love. For that I was always grateful. My heart breaks for all his family and friends.

I will miss catching him the second he walked into the door at work and bombarding him with a question. Or sometimes I would just annoy him with, making him think I had something important and then simply say "I got nothing". Great man.

My deepest condolences to Steve's family and friends.
I knew Steve for many years as Burrelles tax accountant. He was a pleasure to work with and I can not say enough great things about him. His sense of humor always had me laughing. He brightened my day whenever I spoke to him or through emails. A great guy and I am lucky that I was able to get to know him and work with him.
He will be greatly missed. ❤
