Thomas Fay Obituary
Lanoka Harbor - Thomas Richard Fay, age 71, of Lanoka Harbor passed away on Wednesday June 9th, 2021 at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin. Born in Manhattan, Thomas grew up in Haverstraw, NY before moving to Lacey Township in the early 1970's. Thomas was a US Navy Veteran, who went on to work at Lakehurst Naval Base as a Rigger. He was very family oriented and loved spending time with his grandkids. He enjoyed going to Landon's baseball games and Tenley's dance recitals, and going on vacations with his extended family.
Thomas was predeceased by his parents Michael and Elizabeth, his brother Michael and his sister Patricia. Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Nancy (nee Gatsch), daughter Heather Ettari and her husband Anthony, grandchildren Landon and Tenley, his three brothers Robert and his wife Carolyn, John and his wife Lynne and William his wife Suzanne, along with many nieces and nephews.
A Viewing will be held on Friday, June 11th, 2021 from 4-7 pm at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Main Street, Forked River, A Funeral Service will be offered on Saturday at 10:45am at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Good Luck Cemetery, Lanoka Harbor. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Thomas' memory to the Parkinson Foundation, at Parkinson.org.
