Vincent Guardino Obituary
AGE: 49 • Jackson
Vincent Guardino, 49, of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, at home. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Vincent moved to Staten Island before relocating to Jackson in 2002. Vincent worked many years as a florist in Miami, New York City, and Staten Island before joining the inground pool industry. Vincent wore many hats and tackled many careers including most recently JoeSal Construction where he helped people affected by Hurricane Sandy get home repairs. Vincent was predeceased by his father, Vincent Guardino and stepfather, Tony Marino. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Batistoni; son, Vincent Guardino III and daughters, Katherine Giambrone and Toniann Guardino. He is also survived by his mother, Rose Marino; brothers, Jack Guardino and his wife Donna, and Joesph Guardino and his wife Rosemarie. Vincent was known as Uncle Vinny to many including Jack, Joseph, Christopher, Lauren and Jenna.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014 and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014 at George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 12 noon Friday, Oct. 3, 2014 at St. Aloysius Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson, NJ 08527. Please meet at church at 11:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Knights of Columbus #6201, 401 Bartley Road, Jackson, NJ 08527.
