Walter Narkiewicz Obituary

Walter A. Narkiewicz

Long Beach Township (Formerly of South River) Walter A. Narkiewicz passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was 98 years old.

He was born in South River and enjoyed spending his time in Long Beach Township.

Prior to retiring, he was a supervisor for DuPont in Parlin for over 40 years.

Walter was a United States Army Veteran, having served during World War II.

He was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife, Frances (née Kolakowski) in 2013; his brothers, Gus and Edward, and his sister, Estelle.

Surviving are his two daughters, Nancy Hansen and her husband, Cliff, of East Brunswick and Noreen Selvaggio and her husband, Pat, of South River; his six grandchildren, Kim Roginski, Jill Staffa, Amy Burke, Gina Marquez, Nicole Yorek and Christopher Selvaggio and his twelve great-grandchildren, Aidan, Andrew, Kevin, Gavin, Katelyn, Dominic, Connor, Charlotte, Vincent, Kinley, Julian and Braelynn.

Funeral services are private under the direction of The Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. To leave a message of condolence please visit www.BrunswickMemorialHome.com.
