Wayne Olsen Obituary
AGE: 42 • Parlin
Wayne J. Olsen, 42, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in South Amboy, he lived in Parlin for the past 8 years. He was employed by the Middlesex County Road Dept., Sayreville, for 23 years. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Luke A. Lovely Post 62, South Amboy, and Buddies Tavern Dart League. He is a past member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Dill Olsen; his daughter, Alyxa; his parents, Wayne and Susan Peters Olsen of South Amboy; his brother, Colin Olsen of Howell; his sister, Tara Olsen of South Amboy; his grandmother, Ann Peters; his mother and father in law, Alexis and David Dill; his nephew, Nickolas; his nieces, Julianna and Fiona and aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters in law.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday evening, September 27, 2011 at 8pm at The Gundrum Service "Home For Funerals" 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Morgan First Aid Squad or American Legion Post 62.

I met Wayne at the American Legion at my homecoming party that my wife wife threw for me and saw him last at my daughter's first communion party. My wife knew him being she was from South Amboy. I am very appreciative to him for his efforts and involvement in making both parties memorable occasions.R.I.P. and May GOD Bless Him as well as his family to whom i extend my condolences to.
