I was sorry to hear of the passing of Mr Perry. I have great memories of throwing the football around on the front lawn of the house on Winans ave and playing pool in the basement He was a fierce competitor.
May he rest in Peace

He always drank diet soda with ice cream. He made us wait 20 minutes after our Poptarts before we could go in the pool. He taught us how to swim. He loved coupons and flea markets and garage sales. He saved everything. He was proud to be an Eagle Scout. He went out of his way to get the cheapest gas price. He never showed up without a "care package." He could fit more in a diesel Rabbit than you can even imagine. Often to our amusement, he was boisterous and outspoken. He worked a full-time job and went to school at Rutgers at night to become a teacher. He taught 9th grade history and coached Girls Junior Varsity Field Hockey. He helped raise his four children, and later three more that he took as his own. He was married twice and gave us an extra grandma to love and who loves us. He took us to Miami Beach, Disney, and almost every Denny's on the the way there. He joked that he was spending his inheritance on us while he was alive, and we were so glad he did. We all had a number...I was Granddaughter #1. He had a quadruple bypass when it was only available in Texas. He battled cancer over and over and over. He was my Grandpa. We laid him to rest today, and we're all really going to miss him. Love you, Grandpa.

You were so fortunate to have such a wondrful husband, father, and friend. So many great memories we will all cherish. Bill will truley be missed. May he rest in peace.

He was one of my favorite teachers! He always took time to talk to us if he was outside while we rode by on our bikes, and again as I had my own family he always said hello. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!
