Alfred Joseph Cromwell

Alfred Joseph Cromwell died December 11, 2020.

This is to let you know that in the last month of last year, Alfred J. Cromwell, 78, crossed the River Jordan. He is now safely on yonder side. Since many of you grew up with him, we thought you might like to know.

Alfred was born and reared in Cambridge, Maryland. He was the grandson of the late Rev. Ezekiel and Estella Cromwell and the son of the late James and Elizabeth Cromwell. He was a well-known and well-liked member of the 1960 class of Mace's Lane High School. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Air Force from which he was honorably discharged after many years of service. He then moved his family to San Bernadino, California and lived out the rest of his life.

Alfred leaves to celebrate his life three children: Anthony Cromwell, Misty Cromwell and Eric Cromwell along with four beautiful grandchildren, all of whom live in California. He also leaves three siblings: Louis Cromwell, Myrtle Cromwell Bell, and Carlton Cromwell as well as an aunt: Clara Cromwell Sampson. He will be much missed by all who knew and loved him.
