Joseph Szymanski Obituary

Son of Joseph W. Szymanski and Lola Muller Szymanski (deceased), husband of Renate Szymanski (deceased) Survived by brothers Frank A. Szymanski and Thomas F. Szymanski and many nieces and nephews, devoted friend Brendan Beck.

Joe grew up in Baltimore Maryland, the community of Highlandtown. He attended Washington College, UCLA and Oakridge Atomic School. He was a gifted athlete, became an All American soccer player at Washington College and also played in the professional soccer league. Joe moved to California where he was employed in the aerospace industry before moving on to become a self-taught expert and appraiser in fine arts where he had a gallery in the Beverly Wilshire Hotel lobby. In retirement, he moved back to the Eastern Shore of Maryland in Rock Hall.

Services are private and burial will be in Altadena, California.
