John Weisman Obituary
John was born in Washington, DC on November 22, 1958. He was the son of Robert Francis Weisman and Mary Patricia (Smith) Weisman. He is survived by his son Michael (Jennie) and daughters Jennifer and Kathryn, his grandchildren, and his brothers Robert, Thomas, and Daniel, and sisters Carol and Mary, and many nieces and nephews.
John attended Albert Einstein High School in Kensington, MD. He resided in Southern Maryland for many years before moving to Kent Island in 1995.
John was the owner/ operator of Weisman Mechanical and serviced many residents on Kent Island and surrounding areas, making friends everywhere he went. His presence in the community was unmatched and he never hesitated to help anyone at any time. He loved tending to his garden and was passionate about crabbing, hunting, fishing and spending time with family. He most loved taking his kids and grandkids out on his boat for crabbing and fishing and going to family events. He will be missed by so many.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home located at 106 Shamrock Rd, Chester, MD 21619 where family and friends can visit from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow the service in Stevensville Cemetery in Stevensville, MD.
