Ronald Faulkner Obituary

Ronald "Ronnie" Alvin Faulkner passed away on August 16, 2025, with family by his side at the University of MD Shore Medical Center in Easton, MD.

Ronnie was born on February 13, 1947, in Chestertown, Maryland to the late Franklin E. Faulkner and Helen V. Bowers Faulkner. He attended Centreville High School graduating class in 1968. He worked as a farmer for three years at Colliers Farm, a Sharecropper at Dean's Farm from 1965-1968, was farmer himself for 5 years, and worked for Smith and Douglas Choptank.

On September 14, 1968, he married Linda A. Collins, and they resided in Queen Annes County for a number of years. After living in Queen Annes County and Talbot County for a few years they made their home in Cordova, Maryland in 1981. In 1980, Mr. Faulkner began working for the Maryland State Highway Administration.

Ronnie loved hunting and raising beagles. What stories he could tell! His prize possession was his International H Tractor. He enjoyed going to fellowship at Thawley's Chapel where he was a lifelong member. But his true joy was being with his family. He looked forward to Sunday dinners at his sister, Frances', house and holiday dinners to see everyone. While he was in the nursing home at Carline Nursing and Rehab, he looked forward to playing bingo with the other residents.

Ronnie was proceeded in death by his wife of 51 years, Linda Collins Faulkner; parents, Helen and Franklin Faulkner; and twin brother Donald Faulkner of Cambridge, MD.

He is survived by his one son Christopher Faulkner of Hurlock, Md; and two grandchildren, Zachary Faulkner of East New Market, MD and Monica Milton of Greenwood, DE; sister Frances Parks of Goldsboro, MD; brother Melvin Faulkner of Ridgley, MD; and many nieces and nephews as well as great/greats who also loved him dearly.

A visitation will be held at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home Easton, MD on August 25th, 2025, from 6 - 8pm. A funeral service at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home Easton, MD will be held on August 26th, 2025, at 1pm. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park Easton, MD.
