Buddy Summers Obituary

Buddy Summers
Winchester - Buddy Lee Summers, 49, of Winchester, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025, at his home. He was born on October 28, 1975, in Pittsfield, the son of Rex Summers and Mary Guthrie, and Mary survives.
He is also survived by his fiance, Sheila Marable; sons, Clayton (Lana Grover) Summers, and Austin (Kristi) Summers, Kenny (Emily Ford) Marable, Kylar (Jessica) Marable; brothers, Carl Brown and Jimmy Martin; one sister, Tammy Smithers; grandchildren Kayden, Keith, Griffin, and Grant; and two granddogs, Sooner and Sadie.
He was preceded in death by his father, three siblings, and one beloved dog, Apache.
Buddy was a lifelong Truck driver, devoting many years on the road. Buddy was also an owner and operator of Summers and Sons Trucking for many years. If he wasn't working, he was usually found still working on the family farm. Buddy loved to teach his boys how to do mechanical skills on everything. He loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and old country music.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Coonrod Airsman-Hires Funeral Home of Winchester. Graveside services will follow the visitation at 1:30 p.m. at Winchester City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made out to the family ( Sheila Marable). Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com.
