One of our families highlights was visiting family In Jacksonville. David and Carol were kind enough to let us descend on their beautiful home where I saw fireflies for the very first time. A big deal for a California gal. He was kind and very proud of his family. We send our deepest condolences as we know he will be missed much by his loved ones. All our love, The Mark and Cheryl Franco family.

Knowing David and his brothers has added many things to my life . I learned a few new ways of approaching business from observations of their Father as a young boy and later from the sons. David and I had much in commen in addition to being born on the same day. David was always smart alert and interested in what I had to say. I considered him a trusted freind . We had many talks about Jacksonville and our friends and familys over the years. His wife as is mine was perfect matches for us and he expressed that to me many times . He was happy most of the time just being David ( one of the Middendorf Brothers . I looked at him the same way as I did 2 other trusted freind who are no longer with us. Ron Tendict and Jerry Symonds . I loved watching him perform when he was selling with his special way of talking me into bidding when I was long done . He will be missed and cant be replaced . A gifted salesman

I feel like I have known the family all my life. David and Carol lived behind on Prospect when we lived on Westminster. David always had a greeting and always seemed glad to see you. The fun of attending their auctions were watching Richard and David perform. I stopped by the condo while campaigning year's ago and David took great joy in showing me the Patio area. Carol, Sue and I send condolences and peace and love. Our lives are better because we know you both.

The Middendorf family has always had a major place in my fond memories of Jacksonville and auctions. I still have the first item I ever bought at an auction over 60 years ago, I was about 5 years old. My love of auctions was nurtured by mother and the Middendorf family. I am so sad at the loss of David and my family extends their heart felt condolences on the loss of such a fine person.
