Larry was always a great friend. I actually considered him like my brother. He let me drive his awesome Trans Am to prom. I will always remember the many good times I had with Larry that are to many to name.
I'm sorry but I only found out about his passing yesterday. I'm very sad about this news.
My heart goes out to the Devlin family. To Deb, Trish and Karen, deep sincere condolences. I wish I could have been there. I'm praying for you in this difficult time.

Larry farmed my family's land with his dad and then after Pat passed away. We live in the East and will always be grateful for his stewardship of our ground. He was a friend and a pleasure to work with - honest, funny at times, hard-working and respectful. My husband and I had travelled to IL the first week of May and we had lunch with Larry and his sister Karen in Jacksonville. We feel so fortunate to have spent a little time with him recently. We will always remember him and the Devlin Family with whom we have been connected for three generations. With love and our deepest sympathies, Peg Broekel, Matthew Rovner, Leah Rovner, Courtney Evans, Frannie Evans, Harry Rovner, Randy Broekel, Christine Endicott and Lindsay Broekel

My condolences to the family. Larry was a man of few words but a heart of gold. Didn't get to see him much over the years. When we did it seemed like I talked to him every day. We would take up like we talked every day. He will be missed by all.

Larry's family and friends have my deepest sympathy. He was a good friend. He always treated people with respect. It didn't make a difference to him which "side of the tracks" you came from. He will be missed by everyone that could say he was my friend.

Such a good man. My friend since second grade. Whenever I passed through Virginia I always made time to visit Larry. I´ve never met a harder working man. I´m so proud to call Larry a true friend. Heart broken.
