Ruth Haskell Obituary
She was born Oct. 16, 1926, in White Hall, the daughter of Ernest Karol and Goldie Ella Cumby Moore.
She is survived by one son, Joe (wife, Nancy) Haskell of Ashland, Mo.; two grandchildren, Mikka (husband, Aaron) Libbert of Ashland, Mo., and Derek (wife, Heather) Haskell of New Bloomfield, Mo., and four great-grandchildren, Tyler and Abby Munoz, Colten Haskell and Jameson Haskell, who was born the same day Ms. Haskell passed. She was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Eugene Moore; and two sisters, Hazel Cain and Louise Sanders Pruitt.
Ms. Haskell was employed at Capitol Records/EMI in Jacksonville for many years, retiring in 1995. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the VFW Post 1379 Ladies Auxiliary. Ms. Haskell enjoyed visiting the park and going to garage sales, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Glasgow Cemetery in Glasgow. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the Salvation Army. The Williamson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com.
