Mike Neylan Obituary

Mike Neylan, 72, of Roxbury, NH, passed away on January 13th, 2025 at DHMC after a sudden illness with wife Barbara and his family by his side. Mike was born to John S. Neylan and Beatrice Neylan (Letts) on July 5th, 1952 in Stamford, CT. He spent his youth between Stamford and West Haven, CT. Mike moved to Roxbury, NH with his wife Barbara in 1977 where they built a home, and started their business Associated Heating Services and started a family. Mike enjoyed the simple things in life and preferred to be outdoors "doing something productive". He could fix anything and enjoyed solving the toughest challenges. You'd rarely see him out of his dungarees and liked his hair long. He coached many of his son's sports teams and loved watching him play. He was especially proud to have never missed a single baseball game. In his retirement he loved to go camping in the White Mountains and exploring the trails in the area. Mike is survived by his wife of 50 years Barbara Belchak Neylan, his son Peter Michael Neylan, daughter-in-law Sarah Neylan (Hinz) and his two grandsons Thomas Michael Neylan and Miles Joseph Neylan of Bedford, MA, and his sister Sally (Neylan) Okun of White Stone, VA. His younger brother Jack Neylan predeceased him. A celebration to honor Mike's life will be held at the family home sometime in the spring with notice given at a later date. If you are so inclined do something special, help someone today in Mike's honor.
