Dan Cure

Dan Cure OLTON - Funeral services for Dan Cure, 68, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Holder, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Olton Cemetery by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home of Olton. Mr. Cure died at 1:50 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born Aug. 4, 1938, in Lubbock and was a lifetime Olton resident. He was a Methodist and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a farmer and stockman. He married Sue Price on July 6, 1958, in Olton. Survivors include his wife; one son, Kelly Cure of Olton; one daughter, Susan Soliz of Olton; one sister, Torchie Curry of Jacksonville; his mother, Winona Cure of Jacksonville; and three grandchildren, Anthony Soliz, Samantha Soliz and Jennifer Soliz. The family suggests memorials to Runningwater Draw Care Center, 800 W. 13th, Olton, TX 79064; or to a church of your choice.
