Jessie Sain Obituary

Jessie Sain TULIA -- Funeral services for for Jessie Sain, 72, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Mrs. Sain died Sunday, March 26, 2006, in Tulia. She was born April 23, 1933, in Paducah and grew up in Ennis and attended schools there. She married the Rev. James Sain on June 30, 1954, in Ennis. She was a homemaker and taught Sunday school. They lived in several towns in Texas, New Mexico and Colorado. She helped with the Headstart program and was president of the Band Mothers when they lived in Mansos, Colo. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Tulia. Survivors include her husband; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Cindy Rea of Pecos, Gayla and George Spencer and Shelia and Jimmy Bice, all of Tulia; one son, Rickey Sain of Tulia; five brothers, Larry Oliver and Jack Oliver, both of Ennis, Fred Oliver of Longview, Dickie Oliver of Irving and Gene Oliver of Mesquite; three sisters, Charlene Eastman and Geraldine Witherspoon, both of Ennis, and Imagean Stripling of Irving; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials to Calvary Baptist Church, 701 N. El Paso, Tulia, TX 79088.
