Jimmie Womack Obituary
Jimmie grew up in Floydada Texas graduating from high school in 1946. She married Arthur Womack, Jr. on August 2, 1946.
Jimmie worked for many years as a para-professional at schools in Plainview, Texas and Hot Springs, Arkansas. Upon retirement, she and Arthur moved to Connecticut where she worked part-time at Trakas Sunoco. She also enjoyed gardening and making a beautiful home.
Jimmie is survived by her children, Lane Womack (Kathie Kidd Womack) of Los Alamos, NM, Terry Womack of Niantic, CT, and Wendy Womack Elam (Bruce Elam) of Niantic, CT. She had six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Arthur (June), her parents and siblings; Tommie Tinnin, Margie Hicks, Mildred Dillard and Bill Hicks.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
