Mike Scroggins Obituary
A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, Jan. 10, 2018 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Kornerstone.
Mike was born on Sept. 5, 1959 in Plainview, Texas. He grew up in Plainview and attended schools there. He worked for Excel for several years before going to work for United Supermarkets as a butcher. He later moved to Austin where he also worked as a butcher for Tom Thumb Supermarkets. Mike eventually moved back home and was a car salesman. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and the Elk's Lodge.
Mike is survived by his son, Stefen Scroggins and wife Sterling of Houston; grandchild, Tinsell Scroggins of Houston; mother and father, Rozlyn and Bill Cookston; two brothers, Joe Cookston of Plainview, Robbie Scroggins and wife Christine of Mena, Arkansas; three sisters, Sue Stoker of Plainview, Linda Long of Plainview; and Tonya Oney and husband David of Marshall, Texas.
