Roger Dorman FLOYDADA - Funeral services for Roger Dorman, 65, of Floydada will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Floydada with the Rev. Tim Franks officiating. Burial will be at 4:30 p.m. in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada. Mr. Dorman died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, in Lubbock. He was born Oct. 17, 1945, to F.L. and Lorene Clark Dorman in Plainview. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He married Melva Brannon on Nov. 11, 1968, in Clayton, N.M. he retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co., after 35 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Floydada. Survivors include his wife; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Brook Dorman of Lubbock; a daughter and son-in-law, Mindy and Jeremy Martin of Victoria; a brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Pauline Dorman; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Donna Dollar and Lesca Dee and Glen McCandles; and two grandchildren.
