Teri J. Ticer

Teri Jean Ticer, 69, of Plainview passed away on January 21, 2025. Teri was born in Childress, Texas, on April 15, 1955, to Jerry Ticer, Sr. and Colleen Ticer. They moved to Plainview, Texas when Teri was a small child. Teri graduated from Plainview High School in 1975. She attended Clarendon College in Clarendon, Texas, and graduated from West Texas State University in 1979. Teri sold Avon for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a brother, Jerry, and wife, Dolores; a niece, Leah Beck and husband, Bryan; a nephew, Avery Ticer and wife, Christina; one great nephew, Bart Ticer, and two great nieces, Rose and June Ticer. The family will have a private service. The family would like to thank the staff at Prairie House Living Center of Plainview, The Ware Memorial Center of Amarillo, and the community of Plainview who looked out for Teri. The family requests that remembrances be given to a favorite charity.
