Wesley Moore Obituary

A graveside service for Wesley J. Moore, age 94 of Hideaway, Texas, is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2025, at Parklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Plainview, Texas under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, Texas. Wesley passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025, in Tyler, Texas. He was born on December 8, 1930, in Lockney, Texas to the late Ike Watt and Mildred Zule (Jackson) Moore. Wesley was a longtime resident of Hideaway where he was a member of the Hideaway Lake Community Church. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years of service. In his spare time Wesley enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his beloved family. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Francis F. Moore; daughter, Teresia Ann Maddox; and sister, Donna Carthorn. Wesley is survived by his wife of 37 years, Wanda Moore of Hideaway; sons, Gary Don Moore and wife, Linda of Vega, Texas, Doug Moore and wife Susan of Hideaway, Larry Marble and wife, Claire of Greenwood, Arkansas, Marlin Marble and wife, Theresa of Houston, Texas; brother, Randy Moore and wife, Juanell of Encinitas, California; 9 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
