Barbara Ann Lewis

Barbara Ann Roberts Lewis age 82 years old, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025 at Grand Strand Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was a loving Christian wife, mother and friend, who dearly loved her family and serving her church family and community. She was a 1960 Graduate of Conway High School. She attended Bethlehem Baptist Church and was a children's Sunday School teacher, bible drills teacher, and served as Church Clerk for 35 years. She worked at Peoples National Bank in Conway, SC for 10 years. She was also employed by Coastal Pediatrics in Conway, SC and retired there after 25 years. Barbara was predeceased by her parents Robert Monroe "Bob" Roberts & Ruby Estelle Singleton Roberts, her siblings: Juanita McLaughlin (Buddy), Garnette Johnson (Hubert), Tootsie Causey (Jerry), O'Dell Roberts (Mary) Carl Roberts (Mildred), Howard Roberts (Minnie Lee), Wayne Roberts, and her granddaughter Skylar Dawn Byrd. Surviving Barbara is her husband of 63 years, James A. Lewis, Daughter, Kim Byrd (David), Daughter Jamie Hayes (Tony), grandchildren, Sean Byrd, A.J. Hayes (Ella), Aaron Hayes, & Alex Hayes (Caroline), a sister in law, Mildred Roberts of Charleston, SC & many nieces & nephews whom she loved dearly as well. Funeral arrangements will be provided by Goldfinch Funeral Home in Conway SC. Funeral services will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 5201 Highway 905, Conway, SC on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 with visitation @ 10am & service to follow @ 11am with burial following at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church 5201 Hwy 905, Conway, SC 29526 in her memory. The family would like to thank Grand Strand Medical Center for all of their care & kindness during her sickness.
