Allen Hicks Obituary
Mr. Hicks was born October 18, 1949 in Abercanaid Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, a son of Jack and Mona Thomas Hicks.
Surviving in addition to his father of Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, and his mother of Abercanaid, Wales, are his wife, Rita Edmondson Hicks; his daughter, Amanda Patricia Hicks of Myrtle Beach; his granddaughter, Kyla Marie Hicks of Myrtle Beach; his stepmother, Celia Hicks of Merthyr Tydfil, Wales; his stepbrother; and his three stepsisters.
Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008 in the Chapel of McMillan-Small Funeral Home with Dr. J. Kirk Lawton Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the services, from 2 until 4 p.m., at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1114 44th Ave. N., Suite 200, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
