Benton "Benny" C. Dailey

Benton "Benny" Carlton Dailey passed from this life into another on January 17, 2012 in Conway, SC after a long illness.
Benton was the son of the late John F. and Lola (King) Dailey of Moss Point, Mississippi. Benton was employed by International Paper Company until his first retirement in 1984. Upon this retirement Benton worked with Valmet Paper Machinery Company until he started his own consulting business, Productivity Services Co. in 1994. Benton was a storyteller who loved entertaining his friends and family with fanciful tales of adventures. He was a loving and generous husband and father.
Benton is survived by his wife, Jeanie Urtz Dailey of Pawleys Island; a son, Michael Karl Dailey of Fulton Mississippi, and daughter Diana Lynn Dailey of Spartanburg, SC. In addition, he leaves behind his mother-in-law, Jean T. Urtz; brothers-in-law and their families Gary (Peggy) P. Urtz of Havertown, PA, Larry (Kathy) F. Urtz, Georgetown, SC, and Bruce (Patti)Urtz from Lincoln University, PA. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Lynn (Mike) U. Berry who helped Benny with many of his responsibilities as be became more debilitated by Parkinson's Disease. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by brothers John and Eugene Francis Dailey, a sister Vivian Delores Helton, and a daughter, Sheri Cermak.
