I was a classmate with Caroline at the U.of Fla. Tax program 1974-75. Caroline was a very special person. I remember her cheerful affect,
that seemed to stimulate those in her company. I am deeply saddened by her passing of which I was recently advised.
Reverently,

In the 60's, my parents also had the good fortune to rent Starboard, & they were also quickly taken in by the Muellers as friends. By the time I came along, my parents had found another house down the beach that became our summer routine, but Caroline nevertheless became my special summertime beach friend. Like annual visits with an aunt, each summer I looked forward to our visits and would run down the beach as fast as I could to see her again. It was a special treat in 11th grade when my mother took me to NYC; we toured the UN and lunched with Caroline, but it struck me as odd to see her anywhere other than Pawleys. Though it has been many years since we last visited, Caroline will always hold a special place in my heart.

Dear Mueller family,

i'm in shock and at a loss for words over the untimely passing of Caroline.

She has been a family friend since the early 60s when we had the extreme good fortune to have rented the "Starboard"cottage on Pawleys which was next to her home. Caroline and her mother took us in, dogs and all, as extended family. We would have the pleasure of renting the house on several more occasions and continuing our friendship.

Over the intervening years my mother, who later lived at Pawleys, and my brothers all came to know Caroline as an extended family member who always was so full of life and so very interested in our progress since our last time together.

I am so lucky to have had a lengthy visit with her two summers ago as we counted my mother's last days. She was then as I always have remembered he; with a smile, a quick wit, and a caring grace. I will miss you my friend. Rest In Peace.

I am so sorry for the Mueller family and Caroline's many friends who love and admire her. Caroline always twinkled and was such a strong spiritual and positive force. She will always be remembered and missed by the many people including me who were fortunate enough to meet her way back thirty some years ago at justice department. Sweet caroline I will miss you Judy Scolnick

So sad to hear this news. Caroline and I were summer beach buddies for many years, while growing up on that beautiful Island, Pawleys. She was very special and loved by so many.
