Carolyn Layton Obituary

MYRTLE BEACH | Carolyn Johnson Layton, 46, died Wednesday, September 19, 2007.

Mrs. Layton was born in Johnson City, New York, a daughter of the late Glenn and Gladys Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of The Shepherd of The Sea Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Allison Layton of Myrtle Beach.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2007, at Shepherd of The Sea Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dick Webber officiating.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom. When you told me today it took my breath away. She was a loving and caring woman. God is watching over you and her, and sometimes he sends us hardships and this is a example of one, I am sorry to hear this had to be the one. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Allie,
I was so very sorry to hear of your dear mom's passing, the day I met the 2 of you will be a day I will always cherish, you got a kick out of my having a pet goat in the yard. I am truly thankful for having met both of you, God always sends friends in some strange ways. I hope that as u face each new day u will remember all the good times that u and your mom shared, thanks for taking Luke for me, hopefully u will find a good home for him.
