I worked with Curtis at the Myrtle Beach Hilton. I was the tennis pro. We used to play tennis often. I only found out Sunday, 9-18. I was going to ask him to be a friend on facebook. Curtis was a one of a kind. I am sorry I did not reach out earlier. Please accept my condolences. God Bless the family.

Diane and Felicia, we are so sorry for your loss, Mickey has taken this hard also, he did want to come up, but unable to do so. We have so many years of good memories with him, Diane and your mom and dad, we will always have those. I know he told us how much he loved Felicia when we were there last Thanksgiving and glad to know he had such a wonderful 8 years with her. Let us know if we can do anything. Uncle Mickey and Aunt Tena and cousins, Michelle, Mickey and Marc.

During difficult times I often look back to a long ago conversation I had with Curtis where he offered me advice that he told me his mother had given him years before. "You have to look at the big picture" he said. Good advice from a good friend. My deepest condolences to the Richardson family.

I remember the last time I saw Curtis it was at another friends funeral. We stood and talked about how quickly life has passed by. He was so happy and proud of his new family with Felicia and Lowell. I have not had the pleasure of meeting you, but want you to know he was so proud and happy with his life with the two of you. God knows when it is our time, but that time is not always what we want for ourselves and our loved ones. Cherish your memories and remember this is not forever. Diane, you were a great sister and I am so sorry you have had to say goodbye to Curtis so early. Lean on God and let him carry you through this time of sorrow.

Dianne and family please know that my heart goes out to each of you during this time of loss and grief. It is such a shock to lose someone so full of life - Just way too early. I knew Curtis as a mischevious "older brother" growing up with you guys. We have some great memories to hold on to. I know you have your own memories that you will now hold close to your heart forever. I am truly sorry for your loss.
