James Clark Obituary

MYRTLE BEACH | James ''Jim'' Beauchamp Clark Jr., 52, of The Lakes, died Monday, November 13, 2006 at his home.

Born September 14, 1954 in Richmond, Va., he was the son of James B. Clark Sr. and June McGhee Clark.

In his younger years, Mr. Clark played sports and hunted Civil War Relics. He was a contractor salesman with Thomas Supply Co. He attended South Strand Assembly of God.

Mr. Clark enjoyed motorcycles, quarter horses, hunting and his 1958 Ford International Tractor. We will greatly miss our son, devoted husband and father.

Surviving, in addition to his parents of Mechanicsville, Va., are his wife, Kathy Newsome Clark, of Myrtle Beach; sons, Christopher Michael Clark and wife, Ashley, of Hemingway and James Beauchamp Clark III and wife, Jodie, of Socastee; daughters, Angela Vaughn of Richmond, Va. and Ashley Lynn Clark of Myrtle Beach; sister, Linda Marie Anderson of Mechanicsville, Va; and grandmother, Ethel McGhee Billups.

Memorial services will be 6 p.m., Thursday at South Strand Assembly of God in Murrells Inlet.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.

To our family - Jimmy will be in our hearts forever and we will never forget what a kind, sweet, and loving person he truly was. I am so sorry for your loss. I was Jim's lumber cashier at Lowe's and I enjoyed working with him. He always had a smile on his face and was always upbeat. I will miss him and think of him often.
