NORTH MYRTLE BEACH | Mr. James Alton ''Jimmy'' Miller, 63, of West Port Drive, died Saturday, January 26, 2008 at his home.

He was born March 1, 1944 in Davie County, North Carolina, a son of the late Alton Sheek and Mary Louise Hendricks Miller.

Jimmy was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mocksville, N.C. and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Florida. He had been owner and operator of Nature's Table Restaurant and was a graduate of Camden Military Academy.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Louise Statzer Miller of the home; four daughters, Tammy Miller-Vaznis of Murrells Inlet, Tonya Celeste Carr and husband, Nathan, of Orlando, Fla., Pepper Michelle Burns and husband, Greg, of Daytona Beach, Fla. and Nikki Myers and husband, Robi, of Black Mountain, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Tammie Annette Moody and husband, Joey, of Vale, N.C.; two stepsons, Gregory Keith Huddle and wife, Karla, of Greensboro, N.C. and Arthur Andrew Tripp Sellers of Raleigh, N.C.; eleven grandchildren; a sister, Carol Dyson; a brother, Kip Mitchell Miller and wife, Denise, all of Mocksville, N.C.; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Thelma Woods of Bassett, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be conducted 4 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at Rose Cemetery, with the Rev. Don Routh officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2008, at Eaton Funeral Home.

Bonnie, We were so sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing on Sat. night. I can still see Jimmy dancing at Harold's and having a fun time. He always had a smile and enjoyed life. I'm glad you became his wife, Bonnie, as you made him happy.
